MR Contractor – David is originally from Chile, living in New Zealand since 2015, and working on painting and plastering over the last 8 years. Because of the different working fields developed back in Chile (trained as a Physiotherapist and working with kids for 5 years, different kinds of manual jobs, Latin Dance Teacher, etc.), he has the versatility of thinking out of the box and making the best plan to achieve the higher quality standard in every job situation. Since his arrival to New Zealand, he started working as a painter and plasterer, developing a real passion for this field, and looking forward to achieving the quality expectations of every client.
From 2022
After a couple of years of living and working in Wellington, David came back to Auckland to work with Ian in his company Mr Contractor Ltd. as a Project Manager, taking over the company in 2022 after he retired. With the knowledge of the internal management, the years of painting experience, and the advantage of knowing and dealing directly with the costumers over the last years, David continues with the legacy of Mr Contractor, leading the company to the next level.
David has a strong service ethic, majors in communication to ensure his customers know what is going on, manages others who might be involved in a project, and is confident tackling those problematic jobs many don’t want to bother with. He guarantees his work.
